Finally, the draft is over! Now to look onto my 2012 mock draft & big board!
I only kid, of course. What we will do is go pick by pick and go over every pick and I will give you a few grades after my point of view on the pick as well as their new jersey numbers. The grades will be ceiling and floor relative to draft position, character, need and overall grade. With no more delay, let’s get right into my draft recap
Round 1, pick 4: Adriel Jeremiah “A.J.” Green, WR, University of Georgia (#18) A.J. Green was the consensus number one wide receiver prospect of this draft. He should turn out to be a great player, but my biggest problem with this pick is that WR is a luxury pick, usually reserved for teams where a losing record is the exception, not the norm. Still, as much as I tried, I could not get upset with this pick. High quality player, big, tall, physical WR who plays faster with pads than his 40 time would tell you. Based on the rest of the draft, they got this one right, and that includes passing up other prospects and passing up the Atlanta trade. Ceiling: A+ Floor: A+ Character: A Need: C Overall: A
